I build websites for trades companies that actually show up on Google and get people to call. Fast, mobile-first, structured for local search. Not a brochure with a stock photo of a handshake.
What it does
Your website needs to do two things: rank in your city and get visitors to pick up the phone. I build sites that load fast on mobile, have a page for every city you serve, and put your phone number where people can actually find it. No templates. Built around how your customers search.

Why your current site is not getting calls
Pull up your website on your phone. How long does it take to find the phone number? Can you tap it to call? Is there a form above the fold? If you had to scroll more than once to figure out how to contact you, so did every homeowner who landed there.
Most trades websites were built as brochures. They list services, show a stock photo of a guy in a hard hat, and bury the contact info in the footer. That is not a website. That is a business card that loads slowly.
Speed is the other killer. If your site takes 4 to 5 seconds to load on a phone, more than half your visitors leave before they see anything. Google measures this and uses it for rankings. A slow site means fewer visitors and worse placement. You are getting punished twice for the same problem.
What actually gets people to call
Phone number that works on mobile. Tap to call. That is number one. You would be shocked how many trades sites have their number as an image or buried three scrolls down.
A contact form above the fold. Not at the bottom of the page. The homeowner whose pipe is leaking does not want to read your company history first. They want to tell you the problem and have someone call back.
A page for every city you serve. This is the one most trades companies miss completely. If you work in Kamloops, Kelowna, and Vernon, you need a page for each. "Plumber in Kamloops" ranks independently from "Plumber in Kelowna." A plumber with a dedicated city page will beat a plumber whose site just says "We serve the Okanagan" every single time. Each city page is a separate entry point for people searching in that area.
You do not need animated hero videos or a blog with 50 posts. The businesses that get the most calls are the ones where a homeowner can find the number and tap it in three seconds.
How city pages compound over time
Every city page you add is another door into your website from Google. A plumbing company with 10 city pages is showing up for 10 times the search queries of one with a single generic page. After six months those pages start ranking and the phone starts ringing from cities you were not getting any calls from before.
I build these with proper local schema markup so Google understands exactly what you do and where. Your website and your Google Business Profile reinforce each other. The site links to your GBP, the GBP links back, and both show the same business name, address, and phone number. That consistency is a ranking signal that most contractors and roofing companies skip entirely.
The site itself runs on Next.js. Same technology Netflix and Nike use. Loads in under 2 seconds. Google rewards fast sites. Your competitor's Wix page loaded with stock photos and third-party widgets is not competing with this.
Speed and SEO. Template builders produce bloated sites that load slowly and aren't structured for local search. We build on Next.js (same technology Nike and Netflix use) so your site loads in under 2 seconds and is structured the way Google wants to see it.
Will I be able to update the site myself?
Yes. We build in a simple content management layer so you can update text, images, and add blog posts without touching code. For structural changes, we handle those on a maintenance plan or as one-off requests.
How long does a website project take?
3-5 weeks from kickoff to launch. Week 1 is audit and design, weeks 2-3 are build, week 4 is review and revisions, and week 5 is launch and monitoring.
Do you handle hosting and domain setup?
Yes. We set up hosting on Vercel (fast, reliable, and included in most plans), configure your domain, set up SSL, and handle the DNS transition so there's zero downtime.
